What is Conflict Coaching?

Conflict Coaching is an empowering, supportive one-on-one process to develop an individual’s understanding of conflict dynamics and related interaction strategies and skills. Conflict Coaching is a skill that supports leadership effectiveness, working with parties dealing with unresolved conflict, and as an alternative to expensive litigation.

Who Should Participate?

Human resource professionals, managers, supervisors, educators, mediators, attorneys and coaches will all benefit from this training. Participants in the workshop will learn the key principles, stages, and strategies used in the Comprehensive Conflict Coaching Model which is based on Dr. Jones’ research and extensive experience in the field. In addition, coaches can earn 8.5 Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEU's) in Core Competencies and 2.75 CCEU's in Resource Development.

About the Presenter

Tricia Jones, PhD, literally wrote the book on conflict coaching based on important research and theory that has been synthesized into a practical step-by-step approach. Tricia is a professor of adult and organizational development at Temple University. She has been a conflict communication scholar, practitioner, and consultant for 25 years. She has served as facilitator and consultant for numerous national and international organizations in the areas of conflict resolution, is the author of several books, and a recognized leading expert in the conflict coaching and conflict resolution arena.
